Xiaomi Redmi 12: specs, price and design
Xiaomi Redmi’s Portuguese website recently mentioned the upcoming device. However, it has now been removed. The good piece of information is that we now know almost everything about the highly anticipated vanilla variety.
According to the specifications, Redmi 12 comes with a 6.79″ FullHD+ 90Hz LCD. It has a punch hole in the center for the 8MP selfie snapper. On the back, the smartphone has a triple camera setup consisting of 50MP primary, 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro/depth units. Redmi 12 is powered by Helio G88 SoC paired with 4GB/8GB RAM. Storage options are 128GB / 256GB, with an alternative to expand it up to 1TB via a microSD card. The smartphone comes with a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood. In addition, it charges up to 18W instead of 33W via a USB-C port.
The Redmi 12 will also feature an IP53 rating, NFC, an IR Blaster and Bluetooth 5.3. The 4G smartphone is 8.17mm thick and weighs 198.5g. It has at least three color options and the price is tipped at €199. Xiaomi Portugal’s website revealed that it will be priced at €209.99. However, we think €199 will be the price of the base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. So let’s wait and see what comes next. Stay tuned!
