WhatsApp to allow you to use multiple accounts on one device
WhatsApp, the popular messaging platform from Meta, is reportedly working on a new feature called ‘multi-account’, that users can do access two WhatsApp accounts from the same devicebe it Android or iOS.

According to a WABetaInfo report, the new feature was spotted in the latest WhatsApp Business beta for Android 2.23.13.5 update, which is available on the Google Play Store. However, the report suggests that there is evidence that the feature is compatible with WhatsApp Messenger.
This feature is useful for business users who want to keep their personal and professional WhatsApp accounts separate, but on the same device.
Once the multi-account feature is added, a menu will appear with a list of available accounts. Users can simply choose the desired account they want to log into to access their content.
This feature is similar to how you can switch between different accounts on Meta’s social media site Instagram, which shows a popup at the bottom of your app with current accounts and the option to add new ones.
Furthermore, users will be able to effortlessly switch between their different accountsas the app saves the account passwordsso they can transfer using a single app on their primary device.
“When you first create an additional account, it will be stored on your device until you decide to log out of the account, so you can always switch to it whenever you want,” the report adds. WABetaInfo.
The multi-account feature allows users to keep their personal conversations, work-related discussions, and other social interactions separate in one app and simplify the management of multiple accounts across devices.

The new ‘multi-account’ feature is under development on Android and will be made available to beta testers in a future update.
