Currently, if you need to record a video with a WhatsApp camera, you have to hold down the shutter button of the camera, which is a bit inconvenient. To solve this problem, WhatsApp is now testing a new feature that offers different tabs for taking photos and recording videos. In the near future, you will no longer need to hold the record button to record the videos.
Furthermore, the company also plans to bring a shortcut to block contacts. currently if we want to block a contact on WhatsApp we must go to the app, select the chat, tap on the contact details and then select the option to block the contact. The overall process seems a bit long. For that reason, WhatsApp is testing an option to block a contact directly from the junk message pop-up notification.
