WhatsApp companies get status archive feature
According to recent reports, WhatsApp is introducing a new feature called “Status Archive” for businesses on its platform. This feature allows businesses to share their past status updates with customers, which is a valuable tool.
According to the WaBetaInfo, companies on WhatsApp would be able to share previous status updates with their customers through this new feature. This feature is currently available to WhatsApp Business for Android beta testers. In addition, it will be accessible to more users in the coming weeks.

WhatsApp plans to refresh the application, but it also improves existing features. This feature archives company status updates after 24 hours.
Once this feature is enabled on your WhatsApp account, you will be notified by a banner available in the Status tab.
In addition, you can also manage your archive preferences and view your archive directly from the menu in the Status tab. Please note that the archive is always private so only the company can see their archived status updates.
This feature would be useful for businesses as they can share the same status from their archives with the customers however many times they want. Now they don’t have to upload the status again and again.
These status updates are kept on the device for up to 30 days. They can still continue to create ads for Facebook and Instagram or share status updates until they expire in the archive.
This feature is only available for businesses. People who use WhatsApp Messenger cannot use this feature.
