TikTok Launches ‘Aao Ker Dikhaen’ Campaign in Partnership with Prime Minister’s Youth Programme

TikTok has announced the launch of its ‘Aao Ker Dikhaen’ campaign to raise awareness of the Prime Minister’s youth program, recently announced by Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. The Prime Minister recently spoke about his vision to create a million jobs for the younger generation to tackle unemployment across Pakistan, and TikTok will play a vital role in sharing that message.

TikTok has worked with the Prime Minister’s Office to formulate a comprehensive campaign that will help engage and inform the public about the Prime Minister’s youth, business and agriculture loan scheme. The global platform will produce and display multiple informative videos in the app to educate millions of young internet users about the program which will provide exciting opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs across Pakistan. The ‘Aao Ker Dikhaen’ campaign will go live at the beginning of February this year.

TikTok will produce a series of educational videos about the program to help users navigate the application process and guide them on business ideas to increase the number of successful applications. The platform will also highlight success stories to motivate youth to benefit from the Prime Minister’s youth program which will provide interest free loans of up to PKR 0.5 million through Monetary Financial Institutions / Monetary Financial Banks and subsidized loans of PKR 0.5 million PKR to 7.5 million through commercial banks.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Youth Affairs, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, said: “Through our youth and agriculture loan programme, the government aims to reduce unemployment by providing financial aid and guidance to talented Pakistanis. Our partnership with TikTok will help us reach millions of young users across Pakistan and guide them on how to make the most of this opportunity.”

Recently, TikTok successfully collaborated in projects that had a positive impact on the people of Pakistan, including the digital security awareness partnerships with Zindagi Trust and the #ExamReady education-focused campaign with Edkasa and LUMS. With the ‘Aao Ker Dikhaen’ campaign, in partnership with the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, TikTok aims to play its role in supporting this timely initiative and facilitating social and economic empowerment of Pakistan’s young generation.
