Apple has yet to officially announce iOS 17, but the potential leak has specified some details, such as what changes we’re going to see and what the main focus of this update would be.

The company releases this iOS update every year, but not all of them are filled with various changes and new features, and the update iOS 17, codenamed Dawn, will be included in this list, according to this leak. Let’s dive deeper into the details below.

This leak came from a well-known website, HowToiSolvewho has been reliable regarding everything new coming from Apple.

And their report noted that iOS 17 wouldn’t include massive visual overhauls, so in terms of interface design, iOS 17 will be very similar to iOS 16. Still, this update brings impactful stability and efficiency.

Moreover, iOS 17 is also rumored to include a new app for the upcoming headset, as Apple introduced the Apple Watch app. And other apps like Home, Musicand Mail app are also about to get several improvements including in the design.

Separately, an earlier report already mentioned that Apple is going to focus more on the operating system of its upcoming mixed reality headset, which will be called xrOS or realityOSso iOS 17 will not have major changes.

Since this update is expected to be released with iPhone 15 series’ launch, so we will see some implementation in iOS 17 according to them as all models would ship Dynamic Island and removing the Lightning gate.

Last June, Apple unveiled its iOS 16 update features and other changes for iPhones at the WWDC event, but they released it with the iPhone 14 series launch.

This same process is expected to repeat itself for the launch of iOS 17. Apple may reveal it at WWDC 2023 eventafter which we will also get the first beta version of it.
