Today I am going to share a piece of good information for those who love foldable phones and live outside of China. Oppo is hosting a global event for the Oppo Find N2 Flip Launch in London on February 15. It is the first highly anticipated Oppo foldable phone to be officially offered outside of China. The upcoming Oppo phone is designed to push the boundaries of foldable phone design. The handset is expected to feature an invisible fold for improved user experience and much stronger camera capabilities. Undoubtedly, the smartphone will also increase competition in the foldable segment.
Here’s everything we know about the Oppo Find N2 Flip so far
Oppo is all set to set the standard for foldable phones with its minimal, seamless design and compact dimensions that can highlight the largest ever foldable screen on a foldable phone. The handset comes with a bezel-less vertical display with a large canvas. It will also feature widgets and a versatile viewfinder for photography enthusiasts to get creative.
The upcoming folding phone from Oppo is of course intended to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Flip4. The world’s first flip-folding phone from Oppo is coming and whenever a new technology emerges, our enthusiasm always goes up. The handset comes with a 6.8-inch FHD+ 120 Hz OLED main folding screen along with a 3.2-inch 60 Hz OLED exterior display. In addition, the smartphone will be powered by MediaTek’s Density 9000+ SoC assisted by the in-house developed MariSilicon X NPU. The device is tipped to have two rear cameras, one is a 50MP main sensor and another is an 8MP ultrawide. The selfie shooter of the smartphone will be a 32 MP shooter. This means that users will be able to take selfies of the main duo using the outer screen of the device.
The Find N2 Flip runs on Android 13 with Oppo’s ColorOS 13 on it. As for the battery, as expected, the smartphone will come with a 4,300 mAh battery with 44W support for wired charging. There were no words yet about wireless charging or RAM/storage.
The famed Galaxy Z Flip4 and Motorola’s latest Razr now have a very intriguing new competitor to contend with in the global markets. The point worth noting is that the official images revealing the London event make no mention of the Find N2 non-Flip variant. It means the model may be limited to China.
Brace yourself for the launch event in London. Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has set up a live stream on YouTube and its launch event will begin at 2:30 PM local time, which is 3:30 PM CET, 9:30 AM EST, 6:30 AM PST, and 8:00 PM IST. Stay tuned!
