According to from Ross tweet, Apple is now highly anticipated to reveal iPhone with Face ID under the screen in 2025. Earlier, Ross Young claimed the first iPhone with Face ID under the screen would arrive in 2024.
But now he revealed that Apple would take at least another year due to some sensor issues.
This time frame refers directly to iPhone 17 series because Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 17 series in 2025, but it will not have a full screen design.
Apple also has a similar meta for its iPhone series, as it introduced a new notch in the iPhone 14 series last year, and this year we will see this notch (Dynamic Island) in all models of the iPhone 15 series.
And then the same thing in the iPhone 16 series which will complete its three years so they have to introduce a new design for the notch which is a circle only for the front cameraand there will be an invisible Face ID sensor under the screen.
However, Apple would use its usual strategy of using only the professional models of the series has Face ID under the screen and non-professional models have a Dynamic Island notch design.
Currently, Apple has not confirmed anything about these changes or features, so all of the information above is assumptions from sources, and we’ll have to wait for more precise details.
