Instagram is introducing silent mode to its users: here’s how to enable it

Instagram just announced one of its most demanding features, silent mode. Users can now set an account’s status to ‘In silent mode’ to alert followers that the users are not active on the platform. The feature encourages users to set boundaries with friends and followers. In addition, it will help reduce users’ fears of spending time outside the app by disabling incoming notifications and automatically replying to direct messages (DMs).
