Here’s How WhatsApp Keep Messages Feature Works?
WhatsApp keeps launching new features on and off and all the features under Meta are quite innovative. This time, the company has come up with the WhatsApp Keep Messages feature. This is one of the best features especially when someone wants to keep messages in group chats forever. Even if a user chooses to make messages disappear, they will not disappear from their chat even after they expire.
All members of the group can manage the retention message and they can even be deleted by anyone at any time. This feature is the best because when users need to check the important messages, it can be done easily.
Currently, the message retention feature is available to select beta testers using WhatsApp Business (v2.23.4.10). Even WhatsApp plans to include the ability to transcribe voice notes in the future.
This feature was initially discovered in the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.3.0.73 update. WABeta Info shared a screenshot of the upcoming feature and revealed that WhatsApp will add an introduction screen to explain when transcription is unavailable.
In addition, WhatsApp is also working on a new feature that will allow WhatsApp desktop users to share photos and videos in their original quality. When we currently share images via WhatsApp, they are compressed by default and lose their impact and quality. The new feature allows users to send images in the best quality without losing resolution.
